Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress best recognized for her role as the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. Additionally, she earned applause for her television debut role as a character on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. The actress has also appeared on 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly making a film adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. The actress is currently filming an upcoming series called Gods & Heroes.
