Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie has the distinction of being only one woman who has ever won in the CrossFit Games two times. She came in second place in the CrossFit Games of 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She was the first female winner of the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. Other accomplishments include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Annie was an avid sportsperson and worked out from an early age. In 2009, she competed in CrossFit competitions in California. Her initial performances were good. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She's 5'7 and weighs around 67kg. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She performed well in initial games and finished at the top of the list out of 70. She was not able to win any awards but ended up in 11th place in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She finished 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's supervision. Following that, she participated again at CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a woman to ever be the winner of CrossFit Games. Annie was a winner, having an impressive 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to win both CrossFit Games. In 2014, Annie received a Silver medal and most recently, in 2021 she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie is presently a coach and instructor in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie is getting fame for her athletic abilities has been featured in commercials for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renewal Periodization Transparent Labs as well as others. Her own Youtube channel named "Annie", with over 1,000 subscribers. The channel is where she uploads videos about the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
