Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally known as Andra day is an American R&B musician and singer. She's the winner of various accolades including the Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nomination for an Academy Award. Andra Day, a talented singer-songwriter with roots in gospel and the blues with a passion to the contemporary world, is a skilled performer and an accomplished songwriter. She started her career on television shows like Orange Is the New Black and 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her first film role was when she appeared as Allyson as Allyson in the supernatural series Halloween. Andi Mattichak was born on May 3, 1994, in Framingham Massachusetts.
