Selena Quintanilla Perez (born Selena Quintanilla Quintanilla) was an American musician. As being a Texan performer, her music had a great deal of success. She was born on April 16 of 1971 in Lake Jackson, Texas. She has always sung in Spanish despite her American heritage and having English as her primary first language. Selena is born of Hispanic heritage and came from a loving, happy family. Selena Quintanilla had a father who was a musician even though he wasn't quite as than his son.
